Boil some water, make kale and set it aside. Open a can of sauerkraut and set it aside. Chop up some raw onion and get some whole wheat hot dog buns. Find 4-6 carrots that are about the girth of a hot dog and cut the ends off so they are the length of a hot dog. Colorful carrots are great. Boil them for around 12 minutes. They should be kind of firm but kind of flaccid, like a hot dog... hehe Cut them in half length wise and soak them for an hour or so in this marinade I adapted from a tempeh bacon recipe: two tablespoons each of vegan worchestershire, soy sauce, and agave, a teaspoon each of cumin and smoky paprika, a little water if needed to stretch it. Broil the carrots until they blister and serve two halves on a whole wheat hot dog bun with kale, sauerkraut, ketchup (or bbq sauce) and mustard. If you have leftovers, they reheat spectacularly.
